China finishes third in Asian Youth Women Soccer

Oct. 17 - China stunned South Korea 1-0 on Tuesday to finish third at the AFC U-19 Women's Championship in southwest China's Municipality of Chongqing. The win also secured the host a berth in next year's FIFA youth world championship in Chile. China went ahead in the 70th minute on Ruan Xiaoqing's header off of a corner kick and never conceded an equalizer to its rival through to the final whistle.
