Wild elephant in Xishuangbanna injures 3 persons

Chinanews, Kunming, Oct. 17 – A wild elephant in Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture injured 3 persons on last Friday. A witness said that the wild elephant rushed onto a highway in Xishuangbanna Prefecture, and hit a Ford car with its nose. The driver and two passengers were injured. Local government has sent out workers to track down the elephant, because they thought it had also injured itself.
